ONE COUNTDOWN 2025: Heartland Locations
One Countdown 2025
Organised by about 1,700 grassroots leaders and community volunteers – from dedicated students, working professionals, to seasoned seniors – who are eager to make a difference in their communities, the 17 heartland countdown celebrations promise to offer vibrant and inclusive programmes that bring joy and celebration to people of all ages. These events bring the spirit of unity, volunteerism, and community engagement.

One Countdown 2025 will ring in the new year with celebrations across Singapore with family-centric activities at 17 heartland locations hosted by the People’s Association, as well as festivities at central sites such as the Singapore Sports Hub, Sentosa, Clarke Quay, Orchard Road and Marina Bay.
There will also be countdown celebrations at Recreation Centres and Dormitories for Migrant Workers.
This is the first event to kick off SG60 commemorations and offers a variety of countdown locations, ensuring accessibility and convenience for everyone to connect with the community to welcome 2025.
Countdown to 2025 and celebrate in your neighbourhood!
Ang Mo Kio GRC, Kebun Baru and Yio Chu Kang SMCs Countdown Party

The celebration will feature a night bazaar offering traditional delights from various cultures.
Residents can enjoy performances ranging from local singers to an LED drum showcase. As part of SG60 celebrations, a new song written by a local songwriter, will be launched for Aljunied GRC and Hougang SMC.
Aljunied and Hougang residents have also come together to fold 2,025 origami cranes with well-wishes for 2025. As midnight approaches, a video featuring 2,025 wishes from residents will usher in the New Year with a dazzling fireworks display, performances from local singers to an LED drum showcase. As part of SG60 celebrations, a new song written by a local songwriter, will be launched for Aljunied GRC and Hougang SMC.

Bishan-Toa Payoh GRC and Marymount SMC New Year Countdown Party

The celebration will feature The Lion City Sailors FC, currently leading the S-league, will meet and greet participants, networking with Pesta Sukan Community Championship winners, Team ‘Last Minute’ from Toa Payoh Central.
'Bishan-Toa Payoh & Marymount's Got Talent’ will showcase local artists, including Marymount's Hiran Raj, a passionate rapper with five years of performance experience.
A spectacular fireworks display will light up the night sky while residents welcome the New Year with their families and friends.
Bedok – Illuminate 2025

Residents can look forward to a nostalgic yet forward-looking New Year's Eve celebration at the Bedok Stadium. The event will feature a space where residents pen dreams to their future selves, while older generations write heartfelt messages to the youth.
Other highlights include a fireworks display and renowned graffiti artist, Zero, leading the creation of a community artwork.
Boon Lay Countdown 2025 - Be The Spark. A New Start

Themed "Be The Spark. A New Start”, event highlights include a Singapore Book of Records attempt with 3,000 LED clappers lit during the fireworks display and activities like Friendzone conversations and a photo wall for reflections on 2024 and aspirations for 2025.
About 100 River Valley High School students will be involved as planners and facilitators for the event, and they will manage 10 engagement booths across two of the four event zones. Student volunteers will also assist mobility-challenged seniors to join in the countdown celebration.
Bukit Batok Countdown 2025 - Journey Through Time

The event will feature a 'Journey Through Time' countdown celebration spanning five decades. There will be nostalgic elements in fashion, food, technology, toys, and music, including retro snack booths, era-specific photobooth, classic game stations, and multi-racial performances. Residents are encouraged to come dressed in fashion of their favourite era to celebrate the New Year.
Residents can also look forward to a drone show, food trucks, carnival games and live performances by busker Jeff Ng, The ETC, and DJ Hojyn.
A Time Capsule will preserve 2024's top trending items for future display at the new Bukit Batok CC.
Holland-Bukit Timah GRC and Bukit Panjang SMC Year-End Countdown Celebrations @ Heartlands 2024

Residents can look forward to movie screenings and live band performances by The ETC & Friends, Yokez x The Nobodies, and itsLawLeePop, along with a lively dance party for seniors to enjoy.
Families can have fun with bouncy castles, carnival games, and food stations. In a dazzling display of unity, 2,025 residents will light up the sky with LED wristbands, accompanied by a captivating drone show.
Hougang – Igniting Sparks of Hope

Residents can look forward to a celebration of Singapore's 60-year journey, highlighting the nation’s evolution, resilience, and aspirations for the future.
The event will feature laser show projections on the People’s Association Headquarters facade, narrating key milestones in Singapore’s transformation. The vibrant LED Experience Corner will showcase a Neon Mural Wall co-created by resident volunteers and NAFA students.
Aligned with the event’s theme "Towards a Brighter Tomorrow", residents will wave 2,025 star-shaped light sticks, symbolising hope and unity to welcome the New Year. The countdown will culminate in a drone show that lights up the night sky, accompanied by live performances from Didicazli and Tristan from The ETC.
Keat Hong Countdown Celebrations - Vibe Into 2025

The celebration will feature live performances by Monty Crew, Angel Vaishilee and Ryan Sufiyan.
Led by community volunteers, the "SG60 Tapestry of Hope" initiative will be launched to encourage 2,025 residents to contribute well-wishes for Singapore's 60th birthday.
The highlight of the night will be a community volunteer-coordinated New Year's Eve Balloon Drop, where residents' hopes for 2025 will be screened on the LED screen, as well as a display of fireworks at midnight.
MacPherson Countdown Party 2025

The event will kick off with the spectacular "Street-Up Up Ceremony", illuminating Circuit Road from New Year's Eve through Chinese New Year.
Residents of all ages can look forward to a child-friendly bubble show, carnival rides, performances by artists including Bonnie Loo, Patrica Mok, Tallin Ang, Lennerd Lim at the countdown celebration.
Residents will also be treated to a dazzling fireworks display while ringing in the New Year.
Marine Parade @ 50 Finale

The celebration will feature the grand finale to the year-long "My Marine Parade" project, celebrating the rich tapestry of community stories. The event features an exhibition and bazaar showcasing resident narratives collected throughout the year via social media and launch events. Visitors will be treated to a variety display of photos, videos, and stories that vividly bring Marine Parade's past and present to life.
Other programme highlights include carnival games and stage performances. The community can look forward to celebrating the New Year with a dazzling fireworks display lighting up the night sky.
Marsiling – MY Countdown

Venue: Marsiling – Woodlands Stadium
The event will feature a pop-up musical instrument exhibition, showcasing at least 15 traditional instruments from our multicultural community. Residents will have the opportunity to explore and try these instruments.
Volunteers from the Marsiling Chinese Orchestra, Marsiling MAEC Interest Group Kompang Anang Sukma, and NUS Indian Instrumental Ensemble will showcase the vibrant flavours of diverse musical heritages through live demonstrations. Residents will also have the chance to sign up and express their interest in joining these interest groups.
There will be live performances by artistes including Joanna Dong, Shigga Shay, Maia Lee, and Ben Hum.
Families can enjoy carnival games and bouncy castles while residents can ring in the New Year with a spectacular fireworks display.
Nee Soon Countdown 2025

Both children and adults can look forward to painting murals or contributing to a giant community canvas at the “Glow Up” zone which will showcase Nee Soon's iconic structures and timeline.
Residents will get to interact with a Media Art Installation Wall where they can activate pre-programmed animations through touch, offering an engaging, hands-on exploration of Nee Soon's past, present, and future.
There will be a drone show, carnival rides and games, live performances by JumpStart, 53A, Huda, and Stephen Zechariah, as well as a fireworks display to usher in the New Year.
Pasir Ris-Punggol New Year's Eve Countdown

The event will kick off with a Starlit Family Picnic, bringing together families under the night sky.
Residents can enjoy performances by The Pyro Guy and live music from Substation and T’ang Quartet.
Families can look forward to magic shows, game and craft booths, bouncy castles, and a dazzling fireworks display for a night of fun-filled entertainment.
Tampines Boogie Countdown to 2025

The celebration will feature diverse activities for all ages. There will be a pledge wall where residents can pen down their pledges on what they will do for Singapore in the year of SG60.
A skating rink will add fun for everyone.
The event's highlight features a K-pop Random Dance at Festive Plaza, led by dance interest groups in Tampines, where nearly 3,000 residents will dance their way into 2025 with a fireworks display at midnight capping off the celebrations.
Tanjong Pagar GRC & Radin Mas SMC Countdown New-tro Night

The event will feature a "Walk Down Memory Lane" showcasing the residential transformation of Queenstown and collaborative art activities by PAssionArts.
It will also honour the Merdeka Generation – 10 seniors will receive special invitations to ride to the event in vintage cars.
A community-driven art piece using quilling materials, created by residents which symbolises the spirit of community participation, will be showcased at the celebration. This artwork reflects the diverse and vibrant tapestry of Queenstown, brought to life through collective effort.
Other highlights include a drone show and multi-cultural performances by various cultural groups.
Woodlands Town Countdown to 2025

The open-air celebration will feature vibrant music, street performers, and pop-up stalls, creating a festive atmosphere for all ages. Families can enjoy dedicated kid-friendly zones with bouncy castles and games.
Residents, including students and community partners, will perform music, dance, and cultural acts.
The event will highlight local entrepreneurship, with home-based businesses offering artisanal goods ranging from pastries to handcrafted accessories.
The night will conclude with a dazzling fireworks display, bringing everyone together to ring in the New Year.
